Our Dash Of Salt LLC

Cooking is an art and a passion. Combined with 20 years experience in catering and event planning, it becomes the quality service you can count on. Jonathan Mathias graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1981 and ever since dedicated himself to the field by constantly acquiring new knowledge and passing it on to apprentice chefs.

As a teaching fellow at the Culinary Institute, Jonathan also passed on his knowledge in wines and wine selection, dining room management, and table side preparation. a dash of salt is also an active member of the community. 

Our Cuisine

Chef Jonathan Mathias is classically trained and draws inspiration from cuisine styles from around the world. He combines the freshness of locally available ingredients and specialty vendors to bring to your table unique flavors that could be bold, delicate, or exotic. a dash of salt has a reputation for superb, innovative cuisine presented with flair and imagination.

When planning your event, your chef, Jonathan Mathias, will work with you to create the perfect menu, one which will reflect your own personal style and taste.
